I just got back from the Distant Worlds Concert from Seattle. And I have to say I was really happy with my early birthday present!!! You guys who are reading my journal would never believe me, the concert was not only incredible but my sisters and I had the honor of sitting in front of Nobuo Uematsu. I'm not kidding. When the concert was about to begin, Uematsu came down from the stage and walked closer and closer to us and then he sat right behind my older sister. I was overreacting and I think I frightened Uematsu. He was wearing all white, kind of a traditional japanese attire and a white bandana with some kanji. his hair was longer than I last time saw his picture. I asked him for an autograph, but this nice looking japanese spoke to me in japanese and apologized to me. He said that Nobuo uematsu could not sign autographs until the signing session which cost a $100 for a ticket. Couldn't even take a picture with him. Uematsu was sorry too, but it was alright. I should have been brave enough to shake his hand though. ;_; The To Zanarkand and Aeris theme made me cry. The Cinco de Chocobo was cute as ever and One Winged Angel was an epic finale. I want to thank my mom, my dad, and fate, for giving me this great experience. Uematsu remain healthy for the next ten years until I'm filthy rich so I can shake your hand and get an autograph!
